A noble shadow statement is a shadow, which by definition means the quality of character absent of love, or non-loving ways, things, ideas, actions. The "noble" in front of the term "noble shadow" means it is based on truth, the name inspired by "noble gases" on the periodic table which implies that these gases are non-reactive and self-contained. Someone who is self-aware of a noble shadow has mastered or is mastering temperance.
