His love is rain
Mysterious and cold
Warm as it travels
Leaving everything soaking wet
Temperatures start to increase as the heat and pressure intensify
Lighting strikes screams of thunder
Roaring louder and louder
The storm blows harder
Faster, faster, faster!
The wind is changing positions
Wild weather has brought us together
But sadly, it only storms when he calls for rain
Emotions flood the brain
Skies turn gray
Depressed and lonely again
The rain can never stay
It leaves the way it came
Leaving you begging for more
Unable to bloom under an unpredictable sky
We say goodbye
Dry or drowning
Thirsty for what I crave
I’m a desert flower and
His love is rain
