How it Works:
1: Listen to the Artist Interview
2: Pause and play as you go, pull quotes that resonate with your story into your journal.

The Love Story behind “Letting You Go”
Meet Julia Price
“Letting You Go,” one of Julia’s first breakout songs, expresses her tumultuous relationship. It is also one of her first to talk about loss. Due to the writing process, Julia was able to work through her feelings. She’d never struggled with this type of loss, so writing was her confidant. Consequently, Julia found going through breakups can open up your heart. Because of that hurt, she now feels more open with her feelings.
“I’m not looking for love tonight. I’m looking someone who can take you off my mind. So give me Jack and Coke and someone I don’t know. Cause I need to numb everything inside.” – some of the song’s lyrics.
