“We must have been together

It’s something like I thought it was

And with the last impression

You left me with an open door

I want it more and more

It’s who we are

Too familiar, solar

Energy carried on and on

Ripples in the pond

Like a mirror, so long

Energy carried on and on” -Anderson Paak, Luh You

you live on in towering monuments to your beloved

the moments you found beautiful

trapped in the amber of time

gentle fingers plucking colors from the sea and sky

stitching back together the land you still tenderly love

heartache long gone, but not forgotten

they cannot kill desire

you, so resilient in your tenderness

you, undying in your art

you will live forever

soul persisting on and on and on
