Oh, little caterpillar.
Ugly and small.
Another insect
uncared for.
You go into
your cocoon of safety
where you will
become what you
are supposed to
be.
Shedding your
old skin and
growing wings.
Dealing,
learning,
and healing.
You are ready for flight.
The world is not ready
for you, little caterpillar.
For you are now
a vibrant flutter.
Show yourself.
Spread your wings.
You are ready
for the world.
