The boy watched the glittering golden sunlight
peeking over the mountain every morning.
As quickly as it came, he lost sight of the light.
Darkness shrouds his body with weight draped
across his shoulders, forcing him to bow.
The sky rumbles in the light
and he kneels in the darkness.
